For this project on Sheepfoot Lane in Oldham, we employed innovative Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and electromagnetic location technology to meticulously clear eight borehole locations before drilling commenced.

Recognising the critical importance of avoiding any disruption to existing underground utilities, our team used GPR to scan and map the subsurface conditions with high precision, detecting the presence and depth of buried services such as water pipes, electrical cables, and gas lines. Complementing this with electromagnetic locators, we ensured an accurate identification of utility lines to prevent any accidental strikes during the drilling process.

This thorough and advanced survey approach allowed us to provide our client with detailed and reliable data, significantly mitigating the risk of encountering underground services and ensuring a smooth and safe drilling operation. The successful application of these technologies underscored our commitment to precision and safety in site preparation, essential for the efficient progress of the project.
