Surveying Services in Manchester

As part of this project’s specification, we utilised the advanced Trimble X7 to produce highly accurate and detailed drawings of the entrance doors to Manchester Town Hall.

The Town Hall, with its Grade I listed status, required meticulous attention to detail to ensure any modifications respected its heritage and architectural significance.

The Trimble X7’s high-precision 3D laser scanning technology enabled the surveyors to capture every intricate detail of the historic entrance doors, from the smallest carvings to the overall structural dimensions.

This comprehensive data collection was crucial for the restoration process, where the doors needed to be removed, reinforced with bomb-proofing measures, and replaced precisely to the original specifications.
