In a highly competitive market for holiday let owners, virtual tours offer a unique way to make properties stand out. They give potential guests the flexibility to explore a space remotely and at any time, while providing a realistic view of the layout and features. This helps reduce the need for in-person viewings and leads to more confident, informed bookings. For owners, virtual tours not only improve online visibility but also support accessibility and provide unique content for websites, social media, and marketing campaigns. Unlike standard photography, virtual tours provide an immersive experience that closely mirrors visiting the property in person.
The owners of Tithe Barn Skipton identified this, and we were delighted to help bring their space to life through a detailed and interactive tour.
The Virtual Tour
For Tithe Barn, static images and general descriptions could only go so far in capturing the character and scale of the space. Using cutting-edge technology, we created a digital twin of this space. This immersive experience allows users to explore every detail of the property as if they were there in person.
As well as marketing properties, virtual tours also have behind-the-scenes applications, including the creation of schematic floor plans and gathering structural information for planning or renovation purposes.
Dolls House
A key feature of the virtual tour is its “Dolls House” view, which shows the entire layout in 3d. It gives a practical overview of how the different spaces connect, making it easier to understand the structure before exploring each room in more detail.
For potential guests of Tithe Barn, this feature gives an accurate feel for the scale of the property, helping them visualise how the space in its entirety and how the different areas link with one another.
Highlight Reel
The tour is designed for easy navigation. Users can choose to explore through the barn at their own pace or press the play button to follow an automated walkthrough that highlights key areas of the property. Information tags are also placed throughout the tour, which reveal photographs of the spaces in use and offer useful information about the property. This makes the experience more than a walkthrough experience and makes it an interactive online brochure.
Website Integration
After creating the virtual tour, we used Kuula to seamlessly connect internal walkthroughs with external 360-degree drone footage. This allows users to move between interior and exterior views with a single click, creating a user-friendly experience.
To ensure consistency with the Tithe Barn brand, we incorporated custom design elements along with links to relevant social media channels and the main website. The result is a cohesive, immersive experience. This can be embedded across websites and shared on social media, making it a valuable tool for marketing and engagement.
Overall, virtual tours offer an innovative way to present spaces more effectively, offering benefits for potential customers and property management. Click the link below to learn more about our Virtual Tour service.
