Walking Leeds Liverpool Canal for East Lancs Hospice

Corporate Challenge 2025

We’re delighted to announce that we are once again taking part in the East Lancashire Corporate Challenge, running from 1st April to 30th September 2025. This initiative sees businesses across East Lancashire come together in friendly competition — all with one shared goal: to raise as much money as possible for East Lancashire Hospice.

East Lancashire Hospice

East Lancashire Hospice do incredible work providing specialist care for people with life-limiting illnesses across Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.

They support patients and their families through incredibly difficult times, whether that’s managing pain and symptoms, offering bereavement support or simply helping people make the most of the time they have.

Mikey's 127 Mile Challenge

Over the last few years, our team has taken on all sorts of fundraising challenges to raise money for charity, from parachute jumping to walking 500km in a month. This year, we’re going even bigger.

Our Senior Surveyor, Mikey, will be walking the entire 127 miles of the Leeds Liverpool Canal over the Easter weekend, aiming to complete it in just four days. It’s a huge challenge and all in aid of a brilliant local charity.

After walking 500km in May 2023, I enjoyed it and knew I wanted to take on another walking challenge. This time I wanted to do something even more intense and interesting. It’s going to be difficult but it’ll be worth it to raise money for such a good cause.

We’ll also be taking on plenty more fundraising challenges over the next few months, so keep an eye out.
